I don't know if this is the right place for this thread, but I'd be interested to know which foreign accents you think sound good in your native language. Are there any accents that have a certain reputation or association? And most importantly, which foreign accents are the sexiest?

The best English accent that is not native is Scottish (if you count Gaelic speakers). If
that doesn't count, anything Scandinavian. Dutch is also clear at least. Sexiest is always Scottish. I don't find foreign accents very sexy in general. And it is never French. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I look at this from the other way around by striking off which accents of my native language sound least appealing for me. So far a Mandarin one has that dubious distinction.
I pretty much like every other accent more than that one but it's hard for me to pick one over the other. As to what's sexiest, it's best to hear pillow talk in the native language regardless of what that is. Body language counts too. For some it seems vampish to hear a Slavonic or Hungarian accent in English but I think that it's more a reflection of a stereotype in some minds brought on by the porn industry in North America rather than anything intrinsic in the phonemes of these languages. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I think the sexiest accents in English have got to be the German and Scandinavian accents.
A Dutch accent is also nice to hear but not an automatic train ticket to Sexy Town. I don't really have any associations with other accents. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |

I find the French, Russian, and Dutch accents to be the sexiest. In terms of accents I like the most, as long it's

The only accent which is remotely pleasent or sexy in Norwegian would be the French one.
