	I'd like to recommend the iPhone app "iMemento." It's a flashcard app that lets you change how many times you must correctly answer the flash card and how many "strikes" against you occur when you get the answer wrong. It also allows you to group flash cards and to set how often the same card will appear. 1 person has voted this message useful

	Here's another vote for Android! My Samsung Galaxy S II includes a radio, which is fantastic for instant native material to listen to if you happen to be in the country ;) Also, in terms of apps Pleco and Chinesepod for Chinese (Chinesepod's app is really well made, but the catch is you must have a premium account to use it), Ankidroid of course, apps like games IN the target language if you can find them (in my experience, Android is WAY better than Apple for non English apps), GTranslate, Wordreference app (slightly better than the mobile browser version and quicker access, requires data), "Pocket" (a.k.a. "Read it Later") for accessing texts that you've saved from your browser - better download these on wifi for access whenever, and plenty more depending on the language! 1 person has voted this message useful
