Hello, I have a question regarding Assimil. So this book that I'm using has 110 lessons,
and after the 55th lesson you are supposed to read a new lesson and then translate the
one from the first ones from the beginning. My question is, once I reach the 110th
lesson, do I go on translating the lessons past the 55th? Or do I just move on with a
different book/course, having translated just half of the book?

Ah ok, because i'm pretty sure I wont remember the more advanced words used in the last
lessons... but ok it's certainly a good exercise.

You should also be regularly reviewing the audio after completing lessons. This will keep it fresh.

While you are translating lessons 55-110, I would recommend working with other resources
at the same time.

In fact, if you have the time and energy, I would recommend you work with other resources
as of about lesson 30-40.

As a general rule, it's never worth stressing over a single Assimil lesson. Learn whatever you can, and move on when the time comes. If a lesson is way too hard (it happens), just do your best and maybe review it in a couple of weeks if you want. If you miss something important, don't worry—you'll see it again, and you can figure it out then. The same goes for vocabulary: if it's really important at your level, you'll see it soon enough.

The way I see it, the purpose of Assimil is to provide you with lots of raw "input" in the language you're learning, and to help you understand it. But this process won't end when you finish your Assimil course. So while it's great to extract everything the course has to offer, all you really need to do is tackle each lesson the best you can and keep going.
