Okay, I have decided to start a journal on my experiences learning 4 languages in
particular: French, German, Mandarin Chinese, and Greek. I was debating on whether or not
to start this next year, but I decided that it's better sooner than later. My goals are:
C1 in French and German
B2 in Greek and Mandarin Chinese
I think that this will help me see the progress I make, and will encourage me to work
harder to reach my goals. I might come up with short term goals later, but right now I
haven't decided on them yet. I will begin tomorrow.

Okay, I went over the first 7 units of Teach Yourself Mandarin Chinese. I also wrote 10
Chinese words about 10 times each.
For Greek, I did a little bit of verbs, and went over a little bit of vocabulary.
For German, I watched some videos, and started a grammar book, so I can refresh myself on
the rules.
For French, I read a little, watched some videos, and did some talking.

Okay, I basically did the same as yesterday, not much different. I really need to find a
French grammar book.

I just got a new Chinese student, so I should be able to practise it! I finally talked in
some Mandarin, though not much. I had German class as well, and studied some Greek and
French. I might watch La Femme Nikita, I'm not sure though.

Well, I'm not sure how many people are even reading this, but I'll continue anyways.
Maybe I should practise my languages here too.
J'ai practiqué mon français aujourd'hui avec un francophone. Je pense que j'ai fait
bien. À ma école, les personnes n'aiment pas parler en français, donc c'est difficile
de practiquer.
Ich habe nicht viel auf Deutsch studiert.Ich werde die Videos sehen. Ich muss mehr
Grammatik studieren.Ich kenne nicht viele deutschen Menschen.
我知道一点日儿中文,可是我的中文不好。对 不起!
Εγώ μαθαίνω λιγο =(.

I finally finished the Chinese characters that I was on! I don't have them completely
memorized, but I do have a better understanding of characters now.

How's your Chinese reading? 如果我用汉语跟你说话你能不能看懂?我觉得 你想要学习的语言都很有意思!
Also, i believe in French it's "pratiquer" (not "praCtiquer").
Where are you at currently in each of your languages? Have you just started studying them or do you already have a base?
祝你好运!
(Oh! If you haven't installed one yet, i suggest installing a pop-up dictionary for your web browser. I use Perapera and it's really convenient!)
