Excellent! Good job for posting your links.
I'm still a little jet-lagged after my trip to Europe, but I hope to get more involved within the next few days. But I do have a little energy to issue the first challenge!
CHALLENGE #1
Don't worry, this is a simple one. You have until January 31st to give an introduction about yourself and your Japanese journey. Write a few lines in Japanese, with an English translation.
Beginners - at least 3 sentences of Japanese
Intermediate - at least 6 sentences
Advanced - at least 9 sentences
The English can be any length and can contain more detail than the Japanese.

I'd say on your own logs: that should encourage people to visit them regularly. (Although
I must shamefully admit that I didn't manage to actually write a 自己紹介 throughout the
whole of 2013 ... I'm hoping to do better this year :-)).
