If I'm paying attention, I can understand quite a bit of French news radio. Let's say
that I'm somewhere in the vague area of B1/B2. And I have a whole bunch of interesting
French radio stations on my laptop.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't turn the radio on, and leave it on? I know background
audio is of limited use at levels A1/A2, and there might be a danger of teaching my brain
to "tune out the French" when I'm concentrating on work in English. On the other hand,
it's nice to "dip into" French many times an hour, whenever something catches my
attention.
How has background audio worked for you around levels B1 and B2? Do you find it useful?
Have you discovered any downsides?

Yeah...you'll stop paying attention to your work. Other than that, I don't think there's any issue.
