I have semi-completed the Russian goal. I have had a small conversation in Russian with a
lady from Bulgaria, and it was quite nice. Hope to continue with the learning!

I am here and alive. I have been very busy, but still trying to study when I have time. I
was in the hospital, so that set me back a little, but I am back in the swing of things.

Hey, I hope your studies are going well and you have recovered from your health problems. It would be great to read from you again soon.

Успехов!

Hello all,

Sorry for the lack of posts. However, I have made quite some progress with some of my
languages! I have also added a few languages to my list of actively learning languages,
and am very pleased with my progress.

Hungarian:
I have participated in MANY conversations. I recently went to my best friend's party
(native speaker), where the whole house was speaking Hungarian. I spent a decent amount
of time speaking, and of course listening! I have met a few people whom I speak with on
a regular basis, where I practice speaking and writing.

Dutch:
I have thoroughly disappointed myself with Dutch. I basically didn't even look at a
Dutch word for about 2-3 months. However, I have been listening and reading this
language again, and am VERY HAPPY with my progress. I have picked pretty much
everything back up, and have made significant progress.

Polish:
Thanks to Russian and Croatian, I was quickly able to become fairly decent in making
small talk. While I have not spoken this language yet, I am getting fairly decent at
reading. However, I am just now starting formal courses where I can learn how to form
sentences and such so I may communicate.

German:
I have not made too much progress. I have just started learning the language again 3
days ago, and I am gaining my knowledge back already!

Serbo-Croatian:
I have befriended a native speaker who will be attending University with me starting in
August. He and I speak on a daily basis, and I am obtaining new words every day with
mental notes on grammar rules and exceptions.

Russian:
Not too much progress. However, I am enrolled in Russian for the fall semester, however
I am trying to read and listen more and more everyday so I can obtain new words.

Thanks for reading!

Hello all!

Yesterday was a good day for Dutch. I had a 20-30 minute conversation in only Dutch,
without much help, and no corrections needed. I am feeling more confident when I am
writing Dutch, and do not second guess myself like I used to. Overall, good day for
studying yesterday.
