Hi,
I would like to know if anyone knows about good sites where I can study Quranic Arabic. I
am specifically looking for vocabulary lists, recurring verses and themes, and
explanations on the words used in the Quran and how they differ from MSA. I'm already
using this site http://transliteration.org/quran/WebSite_CD/MixNoble/Fram2E. htm, which is
a great help, but it only provides the full translation of the verses without breaking
down every word and grammar pattern, and since I'm an absolute beginner who doesn't know
how to read the Arabic script yet, this poses some problems.
Thanks

Olá, Marcelo.
Na minha experiência, a maior parte dos sites de árabe da net está direccionada para o estudo do Corão.
Um exemplo:
Este site parece bastante completo.
Se você fizer uma busca por "learn Arabic", grande parte dos sites que vão aparecer terá a ver com o Corão.
Boa sorte

This website should be a good resource. The Medina books are popular for learning Quranic Arabic and it has free downloads:

Seconding lqtoronto, it's great. The series of DVDs is very helpful, especially if you
want to have the grammar explained to you as if you were in a classroom with a teacher.
