I am currently learning Spanish since July this year. At first, I did a lot of LINGQ which help my reading a lot but I tried to not use any other resources and at some point they were too many unanswered questions. So, I decided to use Assimil L'espagnol. I am currently at lesson 52 in the active wave (I finished lesson 100 in the passive wave yesterday, yeh!). It's going ok. I can point out easily grammar or pattern that aren't really mastered yet. I also try L-R. I did like the reading and listening to my target language but the third part (reading in English and listening in Spanish) make me want to kill myself. So for my love one, I stopped. I also did MT foundation (the french version). I didn't really like it. So, I will not continue the advance course. I just started FSI basic Spanish.
Level
Reading - Between B1-B2
Listening - A2
Writing - A2
Speaking - A1
I am quite conservator on my language level. As you might see, I didn't really use much of the language so my output skills are low.
Courses/activities
Assimil - In priority
FSI Basic Spanish
Practice make perfect - Basic grammar (chapter 17 to 50)
Book (harry potter book 2)
LINGQ - From time to time
Lang-8/movies, ect - From to time to time as a form of reward
For Fsi, I will try to complete the entire course but I find it rather boring. Maybe I will only do part that I need to work on.
For Practice make perfect, I will try to do 4-5 chapters per week as they are really small and fast to do.
For Harry Potter y la camera secreta, it's my first Spanish novel that I read without knowing the story beforehand. My first book that I read was the first Harry Potter that I L-R.

For FSI, I find that I save a lot of time by using an app on my ipod : SpeedUp player pro
I can have plenty of bookmarks and I re-do only the drills I need to. I can also rewind easely. So I'm on lesson
18.
Your log interests me very much as I also use Assimil l'Espagnol (lesson 37) and FSI.

At the moment, I am only at lesson 3 and I find it really hard to do the FSI's drills. If would have the text right before my eyes, I would do it very easily but without it. I really struggle. I just finish my fourth run through that lesson, and I still not satisfy with some of the drills. I hoping to get 80-85% of the answers without any mistakes or struggling with the words. That the man reason, I am only doing one lesson per week at the moment.
As for Assimil, I really like the course. I do find the active wave to be difficult mostly because of the huge number of idiomatic expressions. I try not to stress too much on this. I will finish my active wave and after that, I will probably do another quick sweep to try to get what I missed. At the moment, I spend less than 10 minutes per day on Assimil. I am not sure if it's enough.
Do you have a log ?

For my goals of 16/2/13 - 22/2/13, things are looking good.
I am on schedule for my Assimil lessons.
I am at chapter 27 in Practice makes perfect.
I am almost finish with FSI 3.
I read chapter 11 to 18 of Harry Potter vol2. So, I finished it. :) I am currently rereading it but with the audio in the background as I read.
I wrote a small paper of 154 words than I need to post on lang-8.
I also watched a lot of Spanish audio content (destinos and la guera de los clones). If I continue like this, I should be in good position to finish my challenge that I have neglected for so many months.

No log for me for the moment.
I find quite difficult the first lessons of FSI because I wasn't used to this kind of practice. After a dozen lessons
and some rewiewing I find it much easier.
For the active wave of assimil (I'm doing it for my German learning), I find it effective to do each day a new
lesson and then go backwards and also translate the 9 latest lessons.
