Thanks for those links dampingwire, very interesting! Having watched the above video, the
following one appeared on my home page as a suggestion, it seems the Yorkshire dialect is
still going strong!

I don't relly know the Yorkshire dialect very well, but perhaps it is similar to the dutch (which I also don't know particularly well) where the article spelled "het" is actually pronounced as an unstressed "'t".
