Yes, obviously. Go back to the beginning of my thread for explanations.
DAY 9:
I watched TV for one more hour. That's 3 hours and 30 minutes total. I can do 4 hours if I go to bed before midnight (at around 11.30 P.M.).
I wrote more vocabulary into my notebook. I'm still in the process of double-checking the translations that were in the book and adding phonetics to each word.
It's a lot of work but I know it will pay off sooner or later.
I absolutely have to review all my flash cards every day from now on. I'll space out the reviews once I feel more comfortable with the new words.
DAY 9 END:
I made 25 new flash cards and learned them. I'm getting a little closer to my 1,000-word goal.
DAY 10 GOALS:
Review all my flash cards.
Watch 3 episodes of any TV show.
Learn at least 20 new words.

DAY 10:
I counted all my flash cards yesterday--so far, I've learned 258 words.
I made more flash cards before going to bed. I've watched a total of 3 episodes today, so I'm already done with that goal.
I reviewed yesterday's words but I lack motivation to learn new ones.

DAY 11:
I've learned 65 words today. That's a lot! I'm now at 330 words or so.
I reviewed all the words I've learned so far. It took me over an hour, but it was worth it. I also watched TV for 3 hours. On day 10, I watched TV for 5 hours and 30 minutes.
I'm making great progress and I keep hearing the words I'm learning with the flash cards.
I want to learn just under 100 words per week, so I either need to make 14 flash cards a day or 100 flash cards during the weekend. If I learn 14 words a day, I'll have learned just over 5,000 words by the end of the year. That's a lot--I think my passive vocabulary is at 12,000 words right now, so 5,000 words would make a big difference.
I'm not going to lie, learning new vocabulary takes a long time. I still haven't cracked open most of the books I borrowed at the library, and I have little time for non-English activities.
However, I won't have much time over the next few years, so I need to do this right now. Studying translation books will be so much easier once I have a bigger vocabulary.
DAY 12 GOALS:
Review all the "animals" flash cards. I'm not going to review the "trees" flash cards tomorrow because it'd be a waste of time. I'll have a look at them on Tuesday.
Make 20 flash cards. I don't think I can make more because I worked a lot on DAY 11 and I don't want to burn out. That, and I have tons of words to review.
Listen to all the words I've learned so far. That would be a big plus, because I'm starting to forget how to pronounce some of them.
Listen to anything in English for 3 hours.
Look at some of the books I've borrowed. That's pretty urgent because I'm supposed to take some back to the library in a few days. I'll try to keep them for 3 more weeks but I don't know if I'll be able to.

DAY 12:
I'm almost done reviewing the "animals" cards. I had forgotten a good chunk of the words I learned yesterday. :(
I didn't add any new flash cards to my collection today. I was much too tired to do anything intellectual.
I watched TV for around 5 hours today. I also took a big nap. My new goal is to watch all the episodes of the first Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. I used to love watching it as a kid and it brings back great memories.

DAY 13:
I didn't review any flash cards today, but I made a lot of them--a little over 50.

DAY 14:
It's 11 p.m. and I'm currently reviewing all my flash cards while watching Yu-Gi-Oh!.
I'll be done before midnight, hopefully.
Since I've already reviewed them today, I won't review the trees cards again until Saturday or Sunday (probably Sunday, given how busy I am).

DAY 15:
I reviewed all my words (but not the trees). I know I still have to learn a lot more words until I know all the common animals. I'll try to work this weekend, but I'm very tired and I have many things to do.
I'm currently watching episode 39 of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and I'm also watching the Japanese version of Season 0 of YGO (subbed).
