DAY 16:
I spent 3 hours reviewing... French--I have my reasons and I'll keep working on French too.
I watched a few episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh!.
I didn't make new flash cards. I didn't review flash cards either.

DAY 17/DAY 18:
I tidied up my room so that I can work better. I reviewed all of the words I've learned so far, and I'm happy because I still know most of them. I worked on two translations that I got from a book, then I scanned the whole book (I got it at the library so it's not illegal, tons of students who don't have much money do it... for personal use only!)
I'll probably scan more books tomorrow. I'll also do more translations, but this time I'll get them from somewhere else. I might learn more vocabulary words but I'm not too sure I'll do it tomorrow. 400 words is plenty and I've been watching a lot of shows--all that new vocabulary gets stronger with input so it's nice. :)
I also need to review French grammar/spelling/conjugation some more, but for now I'm focusing on English. I need to work on my research paper but I feel like studying for my translation exams is more important for now.
I watched a few TV shows these last few days and something crazy happened. I feel like I don't really need English subtitles anymore for most shows. It kind of happened all of a sudden--a week ago, I still needed those subtitles!
I don't know, maybe the shows I've picked are mad easy or I don't really care about understanding every word anymore...
Still, it's weird because I noticed I was watching N/T in English right at the end of the first episode. Using English doesn't feel like a chore to me at that point because I'm a very good B2/C1 but it hadn't really felt effortless before.
TOMORROW'S GOALS:
Download study material from other forums (that cater to French speakers studying for very specific exams)
Scan at least a few pages of a translation book to build up an exercise bank
Do at least one translation
Look at two or three translations (without doing them) then look at the correction and try to learn grammar/vocab from it
Learn 10 new words (flash cards)
Watch some TV shows Right now I'm watching N/T and Black Ink Crew... I can watch Yu-Gi-Oh! too. It doesn't matter what I watch as long as I watch something.

DAY 22:
I reviewed some French grammar, and I also reviewed all the words I've learned so far.
I'll review them again in a week or so.
I worked very hard--I translated over a hundred sentences this week, and I also attended university classes for around 10 hours. I still have the book I borrowed and I'll study them some more.

Wow, I completely forgot I started this thread in March.
I guess it's time to revive it.
(Sadly things have not been going that well for me, so I haven't had the opportunity to work on my English much.)
I start college on Wednesday and will have 8-hour days most of the week.
I will stay on campus for a good half of the week, so I think I will have more time to work on vocabulary and English in general.
I've only read one book in English this summer, The Secret Footballer. I guess you could call that light reading, but it was hard enough to understand and pretty interesting too.
I've started reviewing my old "trees" and "animals" vocabulary.
