The very first language I truly tried to learn was French. I started two years ago, but I could never do much because I was taking mandatory Spanish at my school and didn't want to confuse myself too much. Over the last two summers I would made up for it by dedicating at least an hour a day for a whole week at times. I also unofficially tried the Super Challenge which turned out to be a ton of fun and incredibly helpful with my french. I'm past the basic stage in french now. I have a pretty okay vocabulary and good reading and comprehension skills but now I've reached a distasteful plateau and just don't know what to do. I'm taking french at my school now but I'm not really learning anything new. I went to Paris this summer and it was not until then I realized how painfully behind I was on my original track. Study Skills I don't have many french resources at all to study from so I just watch French shows without subtitles. The Super Challenge really helped me with comprehension like I said before but now grammar is killing me. I don't know many verbs or even past or future tenses. My goal is to learn a lot more verbs so I can communicate easier in present tense, then move to Past tense. I also want to work on my reading skills and communication which I think I just listed already. Anyway I'm really excited for this challenge! Okay so my plan for this week is to take a french song, memorize it and learn all of the
vocabulary. I'm also going to dedicate a physical journal to French vocab so I can study wherever. I'm also thinking of making a bunch of flashcards on quizlet.com too for each song then posting the link here. Okay so i'm back with a few changes to my plan. Well actually there's only one. I got
