http://www.ammap.com/visited_countries/index.php
I am using this website to see how much land is covered by my 'organization'.
I think I need to write something about the number of languages I said I would learn.
so,let's start from the west (Americas):
English,French,Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch
and that's all for the both Americas.
We have also Completed Oceania by the way (French and English).
Africa:
Swahili, Amharic, Arabic.
Now Asia and Europe:
Malay,
Thai,Khmer,Vietnamese,Burmese,Japanese,Korean,Chinese,Mongol ian,Russian,Tamil,Hindi,Urd
u,Nepali,Tibetan (Bhutan),Bengali,
Uzbek,Turkmen,Persian,Turkish,Armenian,Georgian,Greek,Albani an,Bulgarian,Romanian,Hunga
rian,Slovene,Slovak,Ukrainian,Lithuanian,Latvian,Estonian,Sw edish,German,Icelandic,Cata
lan(Andorra)- maybe Abkhaz.
I don't have anything for the three 'Baltic' languages
and Ukrainian and Dzhonka.
I have chosen Tamil over Sinhala for Sri Lanka out of the following reasons:
Tamil has more resources
I have tried to learn some Tamil before
I know partly The Tamil script
Scandinavia: they are said to be mutually intelligible, so I will go Swedish (also
Finland can be crossed out because of it).
but not icelandic - it's said to not be mutually intelligible.
Azeri - said to be mutually intelligible with Turkish.
Macedonian and Bulgarian - same reason.
Turkmen - I think it's less mutually intelligible with Turkish, soI will learn it
separately.
Other langs: Hebrew - Arabic is official in Israel, but I am learning it anyway.
Kazakh - Russian is official, but I am learning it nevertheless.
Kyrgyz - mutually inteligible with Kazakh.
Bhutan - well, diglossia.
Ancient Tibetan is used as a written language, but Dzonkhha(spoken Bhutanese Tibetan)
is said to be quite different from it - like Latin and French.
I don't know how i will deal with it :S
So together:
English,French,Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch
Swahili, Amharic, Arabic.
Malay,
Thai,Khmer,Vietnamese,Burmese,Japanese,Korean,Chinese,Mongol ian,Russian,Tamil,Hindi,Urd
u,Nepali,Tibetan (Bhutan),Bengali,
Uzbek,Turkmen,Persian,Turkish,Armenian,Georgian,Greek,Albani an,Bulgarian,Romanian,Hunga
rian,Slovene,Slovak,Ukrainian,Lithuanian,Latvian,Estonian,Sw edish,German,Icelandic,Cata
lan , Abkhaz.Turkmen.
After 'minusing' known langs:
Portuguese, Dutch,Swahili, Amharic, Arabic,Malay, Thai,Khmer,Burmese
Mongolian,Russian,Tamil,Hindi,Urdu,Nepali,Tibetan ,Bengali, Turk
men,Persian,Armenian,Georgian,Greek,Albanian,Bulgarian,Roman ian,Hungarian,Slovene,Slova
k,Ukrainian,Lithuanian,Latvian,Estonian,Swedish,Icelandic,Ca talan , Abkhaz.
Uzbek Hebrew, Kazakh.
Urdu and Lao are mutually intelligible but use different script, so mybe I will have to
learn it.
but for now...
So my list is:
Portuguese, Dutch,Swahili, Amharic, Arabic,Malay, Thai,Khmer,Burmese
Mongolian,Russian,Tamil,Hindi,Urdu,Nepali,Tibetan ,Bengali, Turk
men,Persian,Armenian,Georgian,Greek,Albanian,Bulgarian,Roman ian,Hungarian,Slovene,Slova
k,Ukrainian,Lithuanian,Latvian,Estonian,Swedish,Icelandic,Ca talan , Abkhaz. Uzbek
Hebrew, Kazakh.

Pushto - 14 pages
Red Shoes by Ch. Andersen (Japanese)
I have tried to search for resources on Dzhonkha, without much success.
but it seems to not have the diglossia.
by the way. I think I can say I know a1 Uzbek.
however it's hard for me to asses my own abilities according to CERF.
Salom, men Polyakman.
O'zbekchani org'anaman.
O'zbekistan juda chiroyli respubkikadir.

Bhutan - according to the Internet, the Dzongkha is the official language, but ...
English is more widely used - even in schools.
That's interesting.
So Dzongkha is only 'officialy' official?
Anyway we will be leaving Bhutan for now.
Now our plans center on the Middle East - Farsi, Arabic, Hebrew.
That will incorporate to our Union a great deal of new countries.
By the way, British Council(or something like this) lists Uzbek as category IV -
together with Arabic :O
I won't agree.
Uzbek is really easy.
Easier than Kazakh (I think the hardest Turkic lang - out of those I tried to learn)
and Turkish.
Uzbek cases:
qiz
qizning
qizga
qizda
qizdan
qizni
and that's all, same for most words.
There are only few exceptions.

Completed a short book in English ~34 pages.
And I am reading many more, I like to read amny books at once, so that's why I am not
writing any update - I will write when I will end them.
But I can say I am somewhat more familiar with Indonesian, Persian, Hebrew etc.
Unfortunately it seems I have overlooked a country - the Maldives, I was sure English is
official there, but it's not true.
So I will have to learn some Dhivehi.
Actually I have tried Dhivehi before - learned the script (somewhat), and borrowed a
book from the Internet.
I think it's the only book for this language 8-0
