Funnily you say that about tiny languages having so few materials compared to huge ones - I have found myself prioritising more with Icelandic resources than with Hindi. |

Not sure if you're referring to me (I searched and couldn't find "tiny" used anywhere else here), but I intentionally used the word "obscure", because I'm aware that even the "tiniest" of European languages tend to occupy a disproportionate chunk of the language materials market (at least in English).

I was referring to you - I took "obscure" to mean "tiny". I see that you meant "obscure" as in "obscure to those in Europe", so my mistake. I guess what I find strange is that Hindustani isn't in that bracket of non-obscure non-European languages like Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and maybe a couple of others are, considering that it's estimated as the world's 3rd most spoken language, based in ex-British colonies.
Anyway, this is a tad off-topic, and the topic is an interesting one. I just felt like making that remark, but I made it based on a slight misunderstanding from what you said.

No problem. I won't tell if you won't tell.
