yep, there is a variable degree of feminine-ness in varieties of Norwegian

en jente - jenten (Bergen) zero feminine-ness
en jente - jenta (Oslo, Romerike, Ringerike, Northern Troms, parts of Finnmark)
ei jente - jenta (Nynorsk, radical Bokmaal, many dialects)
ei jenta - jenta (many dialects) hyper feminine-ness
