Or alternatively,if you've got a couple of hours spare, there is a full practice JLPT test for each level on the JLPT website here: http://jlpt.jp/e/samples/sample12.html

I got bored of the Transparent Language test after the first 5 questions. Romanisation is bad enough, but the romanisation system they use looks a bit non standard too. I could understand if the first few questions were romanised for near complete beginners, but I don't understand why anyone would go to the trouble of learning how to handle things like the "suffering" passive without first spending a couple of hours learning to read kana.

Well, yes it's hard to get used to Japanese written like this :(
And moreover.... a beginner?!
after 5 years of study!?

Who me? Yeah, I know, I kind of suck at Japanese. If I pass the N2, I'll upgrade myself here to Intermediate.   Really, maybe I've been slacking a bit, only taking my JLPT class, and watching Japanese anime. I haven't been writing much lately outside of chat rooms. I try not to get discouraged, I think that's the main thing.

I am sorry, I was actually talking about myself!
SO nothing personal.
