Hello everyone! I've noticed that there're some old posts about language exchange on Skype already, yet I wanna attract more native speakers or learners of my target languages, namely Spanish and Turkish, so forgive me for starting my own new post. :)

My native language is Cantonese, and I don't expect many people to be interested in it. I do speak Mandarin rather fluently, but I'm not a native speaker. However, if you like you may practise it with me - who knows? Maybe you'll be less nervous speaking to a non-native speaker and end up speaking & practising more, haha.

I'd like to practise my Spanish with native speakers or other Spanish learners. I've been learning it for over one year (nearly two!) now, yet I'm too shy to open my mouth to speak more (there're very few Spanish speakers in HK by the way!)...I studied Spanish in Spain for 3 weeks (this July!) and it did help a bit, but I'm still so awful when it comes to speaking and listening. :P I would LOVE to practise more!

As for Turkish, my interest in it keeps getting stronger and stronger, especially after one week's stay in Istanbul. I'm totally new in this language and I have no choice but learn it on my own - there're no Turkish courses available in Hong Kong. Any help would be appreciated! I'm truly a bit lost trying to learn it on my own. (I actually prefer learning new languages through language courses haha) Again, I welcome both native speakers and learners of Turkish!

I'd love to talk to other language lovers as well, just to make friends with people with similar interest. :) Feel free to PM me for my Skype ID and thanks for reading.

Here is a resource for Turkish that I had previously posted on this forum.

Book:

The Audio Materials:

I think it will be quite helpful.

There should be a Turkish course in Hong Kong, but it may not be found online. If you are really keen, I can look for you.
