So i've finished Pimsleur level 1 and will be starting level 2 over the weekend - I'm finding the present perfect a little challenging purely as translating the sentences takes me longer than the alloted time!! I suppose this will improve with practice??

I've managed to spend a lot more time on studying over the last fews days than expected and have now finished Michel Thomas Foundation course - I have the language builder / vocabulary and advanced courses which i'll run with shortly.
I've picked up a grammar book from the library which has helped along with some short videos on youtube to expand on some of the main concepts covered in MT / Pimsleur such as future tense, conditional and present perfect. I dont get to use Spanish as part of my usual daily routine so I'm looking to start a language exchange which will hopefully help with listening comprehension etc. Total study time to date - 30 hours and counting...! Gradully working my way through Michel Thomas Language Builder Course which seems interesting and has helped expand some more of my vocab. Upto Pimsleur II unit 4 - purely using this during my driving time which has been quite extensive recently!!
My anki time seems to be increasing which is not surprising given im learning / trying to learn 20 ish words a day... I've also started to watch / listen to Spanish cartoons just to ease into listening comprehension. R 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Upto Pimsleur 2 unit 14 and just starting to use the preterite!
Continuing to use Anki for vocab and seems to be working, im upto circa 700 words and counting....still adding 20 words / day. Added roughly 8 hours since last log update and cheekily bought a book called "100 best insults / curses in Spanish" - great read haha! R 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Gracias ElBrujo! - i've actually just started using Destinos which seems useful and will try notes in Spanish to help listening, much appreciated!
So i've not updated this log in a week or so but progress has been good i'm upto lesson 24 Pimsleur II and half way through MT Advanced Course - upto 850 words in Anki at around 20/day. R 1 person has voted this message useful | |

So, I haven't updated my log for quite a while..!
As an update, i've now finished Pimsleur and started Platiquemos - currently at unit 12. So far i've found Platiquemos a brilliant learning method, especially the drills and feel like i'm improving! R 1 person has voted this message useful |
