I was wondering if "Integrated Chinese" is the only contemporary multi-level resource
that features traditional characters. Maybe something new has appeared on the horizon?

I think MandarinPod uses traditionals, as they're Taiwan-based. ChinesePod lets you choose by setting your user preferences.

Ari, this isn't the site you mean when you say MandarinPod, is it? Because I'd love to check that out – I'm interested in learning Taiwanese-oriented Mandarin and traditional characters, but they're a bit harder to find good resources for.

There's CLO (Chinese Learn Online) which is based out of Taiwan. And TLI (Taipei Language Institute) has curriculum that can be purchased without attending their classes. CLO goes up to intermediate. Do not remember about TLIs' material. I've heard about other Taiwanese material but don't recall at the moment.
Good luck!

Got my podcasts mixed up. I was talking about CLO, not (i)MandarinPod.

I enjoyed PAVC Practical Audio Visual Chinese. It is produced in Taiwan, uses traditional characters, and has four
or six levels, I don't remember. If you'd like to sample it before buying, you can find some of the books on a
certain site from Uzbekistan.

PAVC has 5 books.
The Far East Everyday Chinese series is also good. MTC, probably the biggest language center in Taiwan, uses Far East Book 3 in between PAVC 4 and 5. Another good one is Mini Radio Plays, which incidentally should also be available for sampling. Taiwan Today by Teng Shou-hsin is another good one. I believe it's also published outside of Taiwan (slightly different edition, maybe more color), so it should be easy enough to find. It's somewhere in the PAVC Book 3-4 level, I'd say.

Thanks for your recommendations, everybody. I wish "New Practical Chinese Reader" had a
traditional character edition, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
