This is an amazing resource for intermediate and advanced learners of Brazilian Portuguese from the folks at the University of Texas Austin- the same people who do brazilpod and Tá Falado.
Conversa Brasileira
http://tltc.la.utexas.edu/brazilpod/cob/index.php
The videos are short (6 minutes or so) but come with subtitles in Portuguese or English with explanations of grammar or vocabulary points through a pop-up within the video. The video automatically pauses and an audio, sort of like a director's commentary on a dvd, plays with graphics showing grammar and vocabulary points. The utilization of technology is incredible! The site has full pdf transcripts with English translation and explanation of vocabulary and grammar points. Right now there are fifteen videos. Of course, I'm sure someone can find something to complain about but I think this is an amazing achievement and innovation in an online language teaching format. While you probably can't save the videos, there are ways to access the audio from your browser's buffer.
Muito legal!

Very, very nice. Thank you!
Don't neglect to click on the word bubbles that appear on the upper right-hand corner while the video is playing for lots more great content.

Thanks for the tip, this website is great and provided with incredible technology, with interesting grammar and cultural explanations. I'm going to recommend it to some friends of mine who are learning Portuguese.

There a comedy channel on Youtube which is REALLY famous in Brazil right now, and all of their videos are subtitled. It can be very useful as well!
It's called Porta dos Fundos

Thanks, fabriciocarraro!
I'm a bit surprised to see a two year old thread of mine has been resurrected.
Edit to original post. The videos are downloadable via an embedded download link. The special features don't come with the download. The Conversa Brasileira videos are great for colloquial speech but you need to be at intermediate to advanced level to fully get what's going on. Nothing beats talking to natives, but these videos help to consolidate colloquial speech.
