Does anybody know if an audiobook exists for Vladimir Sorokin's play "Очередь"? Offering quick-fire contemporary dialogue in bite-size chunks, I think it would make excellent material for chorusing on its own, or practicing Russian with a friend or in a group.
Alternatively, if you can suggest a contemporary Russian play that has a matching available audiobook and would be suitable for chorusing or role-play, that would be just as good...

I've heard good things about Пелевин. I think it's particularly great that he's published many of his stories on the Internet for non-commercial use. Several of these are accompanied with audio, and a few even have translations into English. Just what the doctor ordered - spasibo, Masha! :)

"Чапаев и пустота" is such a load of horse shit. Don't waste your time on it.

De gustibus non disputandum est
Tastes differ, you know
And reading a couple of pages is not a great waste of time to my mind (just to understand if you like the author, or the play)
There are things much better than "Чапаев и Пустота", for example "Ника" - my favourite, but we are talking about something for role-play, so...
Siberiano, suggest something yourself. Uh-huh, it's difficult to pick out something appropriate.
