Hello there,

I'm not sure where on this forum would be better to post it, it seems like people
interested in Russian mainly go around this "room".. So I'll try to post it here.

We often watch some movies in the language we're learning as it really helps to master
it. And I know there is a problem on the internet with Russian subtitles for Russian
movies\series, TV-shows, interviews and such.

I'm curious, is there a problem to get all Russian words by ear to foreign
learners(westerners ones)? I've been told Russian sounds quite easy to understand, but
I really don't know much about it.

So if anyone needs some sort of help with it I would be glad to help..
i.e. I could make text, subtitles for stuff in Russian.

And I also would be pleased if someone could help me a bit in the same way as I
definitely have a problem here. And I enjoy to learn English in some sort of 'passive'
way by watching some tutorials, interviews or something I'm interested in (special
programs such as Pimsleur or Assimil make me feel really sick).

So "Real English" sometimes sounds too complicated for my ignorant ears :), due to high
speed or strong non-standard-american accent, some British ones as well (esp. an Irish
one or even worse - a cockney one). There is nothing in common with BBC at all :)

Поймал себя на мысли, что никогда раньше не употреблял такого количества запятых в
пределах одного "великомогучего" предложения - страшно за него больше, чем за
английский. хаха)
