I firmly believe that people are shaped by their circumstances. In Norwegian, if we say that someone is "blue eyed" we mean that they are naive. For those of you who feel like studying Norwegian, I thought I would send you this little gem, about a people, where being blue eyed is the norm. Knowing a language also entails understanding the culture, and since Norwegian culture is not the most well known, I figured I'd help spread some information.

And for the record. This is made by Micheal More, who is a controversional character, but everything he says in this film is true.
When I saw this film last week, the colleague who showed it to me said that this is where ABB will end up towards the end of his sentence (ABB is the terrorist who massacred 77 people in Oslo this summer, 70 of them being kids). Today we learned that not even. He is considered to have been psychotic at the time of the massacre, and will not stand for trial, in spite of the fact that he planned this for 9 years. He will be sent to a psychiatric hospital and can in theory be out on the streets in 3 years, if he can convince them that he is well.
I love my country, but sometimes we are too humanitarian for our own good.
And to add a few less controversial ones, here is more info.

I don’t think you will have to be worried, no matter what ABB will be sentenced to, he will not walk among people
for the rest of his life, rest for sure. In Sweden, by the way, the notion that people sentenced to psychiatric care get
out in «only a couple of years» is a modern myth (most often they are kept in for longer than gaolers!).
