I had 2 Skype lesson in Vietnamese last week. And that is to much. I'm not able to learn in such short time. So I will only have one lesson a week.

I record the Skype lessons. So reviewing the lesson and making flashcards from it take some time. And I convert videofiles I receive so I also can watch it on AppleTV and iPhone.
And sometimes I make my own video there I take some text and audio I get from the teacher.

So far I have enjoyed doing Shadowing in Vietnamese, and I think I will do it for French also. Assimil method seems a bit boring now in this time of the year.
I have tried out Shadowing while going for a walk and it went quite good.

Did a test on
vocabularysize.com
and got: You know at least 10,400 English word families!

I'm quite happy with the result.

Ok, I have to adapt my learning style more to the vietnamese teacher's style.
So far the teacher have tested my vocabulary, tested my pronounciation, so far so good. But the teacher also tests my reading skill, and speaking skill. So I have to start practising reading load, speaking: be able to formulate sentences on the fly.

So this is old school learning, lot of drills :-)

I'm testing out a interesting software for Mac, its called Pear Note.

Another interesting chanel on YouTube:

It is summertime now.
Sometime it is harder to study in this time of year.
So I have changed to more easy activities like listening, LR, watching TV, also shadowing is nice to do.
And I will reduce studytime.
And this log will be less frequently updated.

Have a nice summer!

Language activity is relative low.

Not sure which way is best for me to improve talking.
So I have been reading a bit to find a way which suits me.
Especially trying to read about shadowing.

JUNI 2012

English 1,5 hours
French 20,5 hours
German 26 hours
Spanish 0,5 hours

I have been reading/viewing about languagelearning from books, forums and Youtube.
I believe I'm inspired again.

Still on holiday so not much studying language until I'm back again.

I'm back home, from Bulgaria, nice country.
Tomorrow off to France for a week.

Mostly listening to audiocourses. Paul Noble's French.
I like this course a lot. Also good, Instant Immersion: French.
Both courses comes with a PDF-file. Which is a big plus.
