This is more of a cognitive science course than a language-learning one, but it might be of interest to anyone in the New York City area. The American Museum of Natural History (one of my absolute favorite places in the WORLD!) is giving a night class for adults called "Is the Brain Wired for Language?" According to the museum site: "This five-part course examines the biology of language in the brain across the lifespan." You can see more details here: Is the Brain Wired For Language? It's quite pricey at nearly $300.00 and I don't know if I'll be able to go (I'm most likely moving out of this area in the next few months, unfortunately) but if any forum members are around and interested, have a look at it. 1 person has voted this message useful |
