Hi! Lots of luck with your language quest this year :) I nearly did Serbo-Croat at uni but did Slovene instead, which I almost regret now. Good luck with that and with Russian as well.

Looking forward to reading how learning both Russian and BCS at the same time both helps
and possibly interferes with your learning.

Good luck with all your languages - especially Russian and Hungarian! I've met a lot of
Hungarian exchange students in the last few months and found that Hungarian sounds very
different to what I expected (in a good way). I look forward to seeing your progress in
Russian too; we're both at the same point right now, I think :)

Hi! I am on the Russian team, too. I think you will go very far this year with Russian.
It is very satisfying to start off as an absolute beginner and see how much you've
learned at the end of the year. I look forward to following your progress. Good luck!

Hi Bbcatcher 08!
Have a great language learning year! I too am a beginner in Russian, and I know it’s quite daunting to tackle such a difficult language on your own, but we must take advantage of our fellow MIR team members: most of them are quite advanced and can certainly help newbies like us.
Good luck with all your language projects!
