Any suggestions for Italian and Portuguese (European and Brazilian)?

I'm also wondering if anyone has suggestions for Italian. I'm a big fan of Grammaire Progressive Perfectionnement (the one emk linked to) for French, so I'm looking for something similar: grammar-based with plenty everyday-language-like examples and a focus on the tricky bits that learners tend to get wrong.
There's a "corso superiore" of La Lingua Italiana Per Stranieri; I've heard very good things about their beginner course, and the short description of the advanced one sounds like it might be what I'm looking for, but I'm struggling to find any detailed information or reviews for it. The page says it's for C1 level, which in theory is too advanced for me, but we all know what these sorts of claims are like. Does anyone know about it?

Theer is the Nuovo Magari courses by the Italian publisher Alma. You'll also find a number of other courses on their site. I've used their Espresso course which is good, but only goes to B1.

Thanks! I had heard of Espresso but not Domani and Magari. It looks similar to the French one Alter Ego; I don't think it's really what I'm looking for at the moment, but it could be useful at a later point.
