I just tried this site yesterday for the first time. http://verbling.com/

It's called Verbling. It's set up so that when you sign in, you're connected to a speaker of the foreign language you're trying to learn (most commonly Spanish) who wants to learn your language. You then speak five minutes in one language, then (via a prompt by the site) in the other. There's a button that can be used to produce random topics if you can't think of anything to talk about.

I recommend it.

It's a great idea. If you sign up for a language other than Spanish/English, are there enough speakers to actually
use the site? And can you add multiple languages to one profile or do you need to make a separate account for
each language you want to practice?

Hi this is Jake, co-founder of Verbling.
Thanks a million, Scott, for recommending our site.
We're very new but already growing tremendously.

@Luai We're currently launched for English-Spanish only, although we've opened signups for other languages as
well. After you've signed up with any language combination, you can add multiple languages to the same profile in
"Settings" in the top right corner. Hope this helps.

I think a few of us over at lenguajero were spammed by someone from verbling a couple of months ago. Not cute.
