Hello everyone! I know it's been awhile but I was wonder when the English based Russian program is supposed to hit the US market? I've looked on amazon and found nothing so far. Anyone that's using it now, is it up to par or a let down?

Thanks!
Jordan

I think you can just order it on the Assimil website, so it's going to be pretty expensive, like 70 euros and whatever shipping from France costs.

I don't think we're going to see it in the $30 range like other courses on amazon for awhile.

I think some people have bought it and said it's pretty good.

OT: What's up with the Assimil courses on amazon? I looked yesterday, and the ones I saw were all either out of stock or took 2-3 months to ship. The price on amazon is excellent, but it's annoying that they're out of stock. Oh well, i guess it's worth the wait.

Where did you find the Italian one? I looked for it yesterday and couldn't find it on amazon.

I was also looking for Japanese, but I think I'll be occupied with the languages I'm trying now.

Finished it. Because it didn't do what they advertise, for me it was a let down. That being said, there are many ways
to use Assimil. It might be perfect for you, depending on what you need it to do. And you might even learn things
very well passively, making you a better candidate for Assimil than me.

Wulfgar, I'm sorry to read this. I was cheering for you to find success! Do you mind expanding a bit on how
it let you down? Since I'm on passive wave lesson 36 today, maybe knowing some weaknesses of this
particular course at this point in time will help the next few months go smoother and end more
successfully :)

And what are you doing now for Russian other than the penguin course?
