Stick through that lovely 130 kanji bundled together.
Furthermore, I found myself doing a mix of J-J and J-E after 1000 helping me progres
quicker. Nowadays (at 2450), I add mostly only J-J cards.

What I implied was that they are the worst part of RtK. Don't do more than you have
time to review. I spent five days going through it, and there were only a few that I
didn't have to relearn.
If anything, pay very close attention to the details, and memorise them well.

A target of one lesson per day can be difficult when you get to some of those very long lessons. You might want to consider taking some of them in two or three bites.
And yes, burnout is a big danger. So doing whatever you can to prevent it is a good idea.

That's one of the books I picked up late last year. I found it to be very useful,
although I was using quite a lot of it as a review by then. It does become more complex
towards the end though.
One thing I found though was that it was pretty tricky (for me) to make out the writing
in the manga panels. I quite like the idea of getting hold of some manga and trying it
out, but it put me off slightly that I'd probably have such issues with the "hand
writing". How do you feel about that?
