I want to check my level of French (as possible according to the European Framework of Languages) now and from time to time later on. Are there any websites available where I can take such French placement tests without paying money for it? I appreciate any recomendations!

There is a software called Dialang. Somebody posted a while ago, and if you search for it on Google, you'll find it easily. It's a free software, like Anki and Mnemosyne. But this one can test your knowledge in +10 European languages, including the commonly studied languages like French, German and English. But the tests are quite long and addictive so you might want to set aside ample time for the test.

ATTENTION: Jiwon, you should delete your link "Dialang" as soon as possible, because there is a virus on that webpage. Fortunately, I have a good anti-virus program. So please delete this link, before it can do any harm!!!

Fasulye

I now see, that you have removed the link "Dialang". Thank you, safety comes first!

Fasulye,

Go here and download their example Delf/DALF exams, and see what they are like. Should give an idea of where you are based against actual European Framework tests.

http://www.delfdalf.ch/index.php?id=84

If memory serves they have the answers as well.

Thom.
