I'm sure not an expert, but I think the easiest thing for you to do that would greatly improve your "accent" would be to tongue-flap thr R's.

(If they don't tongue-flap the R's in Spain like they do in Latin America, somebody please say so!)

A tongue flap is like the "tt" in "butter" as U.S.people say it, i.e.: "Budder." Same as "little" ("liddle"), Betty (Beddy), etc.

For instance, you pronounce "creo" with an English R sound. With a tongue-flap, it would be something like "cuh-day-oh" with a very light "d" sound. (and said fast)

Quatro would be "quah-tuh-do" said fast, etc.

Somebody else can help you to roll the double R's, as in Ingleterra, I don't think I can do that using written words alone!

I wouldn't say so. Liverpool has a very distinctive accent. You can recognise it a mile away.

This would be a good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cph2TnHW4Y

Nice for the courage! I could understand what you said, but I am not in position to correct anything, unfortunately.

Also, what a damn beautiful accent you have! Teach me teach me!

Paranday - I have no idea if audible h:s are part of the Argentine accent.

As for Doug's English accent, it got me thinking of guitarist/singer Robin George (who I believe is from Wolverhampton).

Hi Ashiro,

It needs some courage to present oneself on You Tube. Because you are still in the beginning of your learning process, I would give you the advice to read what Iversen writes on how to learn to think in foreign languages. On this video you speak Spanish while thinking in English. If you can learn to think in the foreign language your speech will become more fluent. But this will need more time and more study, so you need to be patient.

Good luck!
