I probably didn't partake in that poll, but I'm curious. Did so many people vote forgetting conversational as soon as possible? For me, conversation is the ultimate goal, but not the immediate one, and nowadays I'm fine with that.

Unfortunately, there are some topics that this forum doesn't do well with. One is discussing famous (within our narrow slice of the world) polyglots with blogs or youtube channels.
