Ok. Deep breath.
Cons:
1 - I am clinically insane for believing I can do even the Super challenge in a language I still do not understand (Russian). Adding an advanced Super Challenge to that is beyond crazy.
Pros:
1 - I need to do something with my French - it is withering.
2 - I need to push my daughters into learning some French and I am going to France tomorrow and might possibly get some material.
3 I have got nothing to lose - worst case I give up without having reached my goal, but I will still have given my French a major makeover.
REGISTRATION
Language: French
Type of challenge: Advanced Super Challenge
Level: I am hoping I am a C1, but suspecting a B2 - anyway this challenge should do wonders!
So - together with the Super challenge I am already doing, this is the equivalent of three Super Challenges. Like I said. Clinically insane.
Obs. The fact that I am going to Paris tomorrow may mean that although I can possibly answer questions, I will probably not be able to update the list on the first page - it depends of what access I get. If there are anyone else who would like to register you just do that, here and on the bot, and I'll update the first post when I get home on Saturday.

For those who think hundreds of movies and books is impossible, I just checked my lists from 2011 (yes, I keep journals of basically everything...:)):
79 books (OK, I was LAZY - my average on a good week is five books)
283 movies
Good luck, everyone.

P.S. One question, how does one keep track of how many books they've read, movies they've watched, etc.? I'm
sorry, I'm still a novice at this whole challenges concept :) |

Most use the twitter bot. Some also start blogs, logs or use justpaste.it (example)

Ok! My first update in the Advanced Super Challenge
FILMS
1. Beverly Hills 90210 ep. 1-2 ( May 5th)
2. Beverly Hills 90210 ep. 3-4 ( May 5th)
Ok. So not exactly the most intellectual of shows, but in order to do something which we could do as a
family activity I had to take stuff which my daughter wanted to see. I used to see the original series in the
80ies or 90 ies, or whenever it went, and thought it was great. This one has no personalities. Either I was
more gullible then, or the actors are more boring now, but I will not be sorry when the two seasons are
over. Good to modernize my French a bit though. It is stuck in the 70 ies, which is not a good place to be
for an accent.
Thankfully I also got some stuff which is closer to my taste for later use.
