I'm loking for some interesting sources for Italian A2/B1 level, but still haven't found anything that would make me satisfied (well, except Routledge Intensive Course that probably is worth a look). So, any proposal is at a premium ;)

How about Colloquial Italian 1 & 2 with or without audio?
There are tons of Italian podcasts available but I don't know of any specifically aimed at A2.

I suggested Italianpod101.com just the other day: they have a bunch of lessons from
beginner to "intermediate" (plus a blog for "advanced"). I've no idea how they determine
their levels, but it all seems to be free (well, the audio is, I didn't try the PDFs).
I found this today (via a post here): http://www.listenlive.eu/italy.html. That's live
radio, so it's not aimed at learners, but it might prove useful.
http://rai.it has various RAI programmes available - again not aimed at beginners, but
they do sometimes have shows aimed at teaching Italian kids English, so those might be of
some help.

Have you seen 'Italian Beyond the Basics' by Living Language? The pack comes with the textbook, a dictionary, and CDs. It's a twenty-lesson course that assumes you have already completed a course in elementary Italian.
Each lesson begins with a dialogue in Italian, also giving the English translation. Then there are usage and cultural notes about the dialogue. This is followed by grammar notes, which revise the basic grammar you should have already learnt in your first course, as well as introducing more advanced topics. Finally, there are exercises, with the answers provided.
It's a pretty straight-forward course, which means you can adapt it to suit your own style of learning (you can order you learning anyway you like). Also, the recordings are entirely in Italian (except for 'Lesson One' etc at the start of each track). The dialogue is given at normal speed, then with pauses for repetition.
There is no vocabulary list with each lesson, which I didn't like at first. But because you're expected to know some Italian already, this makes sense. What I do is after repeating the dialogue until fluent, I read the usage and grammar notes. Then I type out the dialogue on my computer part by part (the parts are numbered). I parse each part (usually about one to three sentences) so I can understand how the sentence is made up. If there are any words in that part I don't know, I put them into Anki. Everyday, I begin my study by doing Anki.
I studied some Italian some time ago, and have recently taken it up again. I tried doing a beginner's course, but found it slow and boring. I'm loving the Living Language Beyond the Basics course. It revises basic grammar (bringing me up to speed). The dialogues are lively and varied. And the recordings are excellent. Worth a look.

I can second the recommendation for Italian Beyond the Basics. I still plan to listen
to those dialogues once I get through my Assimil CDs again. The lack of vocabulary list
never really bothered me, but I've really only completed one course that gave lists (a
beginner's Living Language course, which I was also quite satisfied with).
I found the grammatical explanations clear and incredibly useful. I still pick that
book up often to check on the areas I have the most trouble with: the Subjunctive and
the Conditional, mostly.
My only complaint is that in trying to repeat the dialogues without looking at the
text, the gaps between lines (where you're supposed to repeat) are very short.
They leave you little time to decipher what was said and say it. You basically have to
immediately know the line and be able to repeat it at the same speed the voice actor
said it in. It got a little frustrating after a while, but other than that the
dialogues were great.
I think it's an excellent intermediate course, particularly if you think you're ready
for some in-depth grammatical explanations.

I do not know if these are too advanced or too easy than what you are looking for, but you might be interested in
http://www.initalia.rai.it/ and
http://www.italianoinfamiglia.it/. These are both free online video
courses (entirely in Italian) with some interactive quizzes and activities.

t123, you've just made my day! Not because of Italian, but because of a Swiss German
podcast with Standard German transcripts from the same website - nice!
