I've been considering traveling in the near future to: Mongolia, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, New Delhi and
Nepal. Down the line, I plan on going to: Japan, Russia, London, Brazil and Madrid. There are so many
other countries I'd love see.

The world is so vast, yet life is so short. Is life a race?

Man and mortality. Happy New Year HTLAL!

One often notices that the answers to such questions tend to be whimsical, or without direction. Such as, when one suggest traveling to a place simply because it seems exotic, which is common (one would think).

On the other hand, one might consider the matter a bit more and develop a more mature and thus more fulfilling reason to travel to some place. This one, thinks that historical and cultural-linguistic reasons constitute the ideal reasons for pursuing such desires or dreams (for ones who have never traveled).

Again, this one thinks that China, Japan, South America, and Iceland are interesting places to visit. China for the study of Mandarin and Classical Chinese as well as the delicious food. Japan for the language, martial traditions such as Kendo, Iaido, Jujutsu, and the fascinating cultural differences (not to mention the music). South America, more specifically Peru, for the fascinating spectacle that is Machu Pichu, also to practice Spanish. Finally, Iceland for its other-worldly landscapes (volcanoes, hot-springs, etc..) and interesting language, it's also considered the most feminist country in the world (so cultural interest as well).

That is where this one's interest and desires lie for the moment. Hasta luego.

I would love to travel to France, Switzerland, and Japan. I would also like to travel to New Caledonia again.
