It's my 1,000th post on HTLAL! It's hard to believe, but I made it to 1,000. Since my first post two and a half years ago, I've seen quite a few members come and go. Since joining the forum, I have learned a lot about language learning that I didn't know before. I've also gotten to know some folks here and I greatly appreciate the wealth of intelligence we have here on this forum. At some point, after the holidays I will elaborate further on what this means to me and what I've learned. For now, I just want to say a big hearty THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me along the way and I hope that 2013 will be a great year for all the members of the forum.

Obrigado, Serpent! Yeah, 2 and a half years to the day, go figure. I doubt if it will work out to 2,000 posts on June 28, 2015, even if the forum stays up that long.
