Right there with you, bro! Though I suspect that if I knew us much Russian as you do, I would already
consider that I spoke it.
The thought of actually one day being able to say that "Yes, I speak Russian" almost fills my eyes with tears.

Obviously Polish. Might be a while as I started learning a few weeks ago, but I've already increased my vocabulary from 10 words to about 50 since then

Err, yeah I guess it should be Japanese. I just need to convince myself, really. Believe, believe...

Seeing as how I'll be devoting most of my time to studying for JLPT N2 and (hopefully) N1 this year, it looks like I won't be moving another language to 'speaks' in the foreseeable future. In fact, I might demote German to 'studies', since I'm severely out of practice. Heck, I'll probably want to do the same to Japanese after the next time I get to actually speak it with someone.

Polish! It might take awhile, but someday I'll get there.

The generally accepted criteria on HTLAL of "speaks" is B-2 equivalent. I'm studying Haitian Creole right now with a goal of taking it to a conversational level. I'd be happy with a B-1. I don't think I want to take it to B-2 just yet, but we'll see how it goes the further I get into it.

I really want to get my German from studies to speaks within 2013 as I'm sick of sounding like a 3 year old when I attempt to speak to people here.

Edit: Oops, clicked on the wrong thread. For a more on topic response, I'll probably brush up on some French when I need a new challenge. Or if I decided I need something totally different, maybe Mandarin...
