I broke it off with those two old fogeys Latin and Ancient Greek as soon as I could. I freely chose them, but later realised I must have just been looking for a father figure. I did learn some valuable things from them, but they just didn't fit in with my social circle...

I moved on to Portuguese because I liked the concept of having a boyfriend and this one was looking fine. But back then I didn't quite understand what kind of dedicated work a relationship requires and so we never got very close.

Everything changed when I met Korean. I had had a crush on him for almost two years by the time we began our relationship. We took it slow in the beginning, hoping to stay together and grow closer. I knew this was a guy I was serious about - I hardly ever grew tired of him. But still I didn't dare to think too far ahead and I think it was a good decision. We were able to gradually build a strong basis for our relationship and my passion for him has grown even greater with time.

I would think of settling down but, alas, I am still young. I have to admit with some embarrassment that I had a couple of affairs on the side (Hebrew, Persian and a long-term one-sided crush on Mandarin). I would like to explore them a little more before Korean and I start talking about marriage. It should be okay, because Korean is very understanding.
