The November 6 Week Challenge starts on November 1st and lasts until December 12th. The
bot is already ready to accept sign-ups.

Tweet something like "@6WCBot I want to #register to study #Esperanto intensively in
November. #HTLAL user; working #full-time."
Full-time = that's how long you're busy with things other than languages.
Keep in mind that your main target language has to be a weak one - not better than
lower intermediate level
. You may however submit the work you do on other languages
as well.

If you're not familiar with the idea of the 6 Week Challenge yet, read
this explanation or ask someone who
scored well previously. The
leaderboards for previous 6 Week Challenges can be found
here .

The main page is now tracking sign-ups and scores for November. Which language shall
it be?

Good luck and have fun!

And to note a change in rules: if you watch a movie in your target language now and focus
100% of your attention on gleaning vocabulary & structures from it, you may log it as
100% of the minutes now, you no longer have to discount it. If you pause the movie to
note or look up vocabulary, you can log those minutes in addition to the movie time.
However, if you're not really focussing on learning your target language from the movie,
you should still log less minutes.

The challenge before last, I did Piedmontese, which wasn't in the list of language codes
recognized. I was still able to track what I was doing with my own code, so if you can't
find the code for Breton, don't worry about it and just use your own useful code.

Breton is part of it and you should have gotten a message from the bot that the
registration went through successfully. You're also in the list of participants at
6wc.learnlangs.com .

The bot recognizes all languages that have a two-letter code, and a few languages I added
on demand, such as Cantonese and Ancient Greek.

Ok, good, I wouldn't normally have asked, but Breton is an obscure pick.

I considered skipping the challenge because I'm not satisfied with my Super Challenge scores, but then I realized I could sign up with Belarusian!!! Very excited ♥

Also, it's strongly recommended not to sign up with the language you're doing the Assimil experiment in. Otherwise you'll be tempted to study too much :D

That's perfectly okay for me - I really just want something to log, because I don't
really have other "beginner languages" and I really don't have the time to spend on f.e.
Russian
