With the new voting feature (Useful? Vote for this post!) you can now vote for a member by voting for each of his messages which you find useful. Then those votes are aggregated and an objective ranking of those members with the most useful posts will emerge. Of course this does not replace the present thread where you can pay a tribute to those members who have inspired and encouraged you most!

Sniff, thanks guys. Not for that lonely yellow bucket but for all the nice words. I am glad the TAC idea didn't go to total waste.
The members whose posts I enjoy(ed) reading

and that Polish monster
Sheetz and Sunja fed into my Japanese obsession. Sheetz is an inspiration. Sunja is simply a great read -when she's not writing about verbs. I enjoy Iversen's posts a lot and not necessarily because we share similar views. The "Rule of 7" and the Goddess Literature VS. well, Iversen. Frenkeld... I hope he gets to his Hindi one of these days. I am not following leosmith's guidelines. He was supposed to retire 1200 posts ago. He also belongs somewhere here as do a few other names.

1 post I did find encouraging which came from someone before Halloween. The posting contain a
number of words & phrases relating to the event in English. Members are asked to include words &
phrases in other languages.
In many parts of the world it is not a traditional to celebrate Halloween. Still I came across half-dozen
postings including Russian, Japanese and Finnish including posts from people in languages that are not
their mother-tongue. Tells you how much effort some of us put in to learn foreign languages.
