I wonder if someone has done any surveys to see what's the percentage of anglophone population misspell "separate" as "seperate". I reckon it's probably more than 50%.
Only if all of them have some knowledge of french because french would never misspell "séparer" as " sépérer"

For some unknown reason I keep mispelling 'maintenance', even though I probably write the word at least twice a day.
