time, even the "obscure" ones, this also is a word I have problems with. Another one is occur. I can never remember if there really is a second c in it or not. I also have a problem with parallel because of some weird thinking that it's just not possible for this word to be spelled the same way in English as it is in German. I wonder if someone has done any surveys to see what's the percentage of anglophone population misspell "separate" as "seperate". I reckon it's probably more than 50%.
Only if all of them have some knowledge of french because french would never misspell "séparer" as " sépérer" 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

For some unknown reason I keep mispelling 'maintenance', even though I probably write the word at least twice a day.
