I'm not trying to be negative!! Just an observation.
I have noticed that sometimes when I ask portuguese questions (since I know Spanish as a native admittedly I don't ask too often as not a lot surprises me), it takes quite a while for responses to come in. I get responses much faster for French questions and the fastest for German questions (though there was a time when it also took some time to get answers for French questions, not anymore though). I admit that sometimes I don't ask because I feel the query may not be replied to. What I'm saying is that there are many here that are learning the language, they may be more "lurking" in behavior though! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I'm currently not studying Portuguese, but I plan to get back to it next year or so (mainly the European variant). I'll probably also keep a log and it would be nice to follow other learners' progress and share information...

I learn Portuguese too, got interested after I started train Capoeira, and suddenly found myself meeting lots of Brazilians with little Norwegian or English knowledge.
