During my not that long career as French learner, I've found that most of the nouns in
French and Italian have the same gender, but every now and then some changes may occur,
for instance flower and planet are masculine in Italian and feminine in French while
grapefruit and art are feminine in Italian and masculine in French.
So, my question is: do you know any list of nouns that have different genders in these
two languages? It would help me a lot.

There's a list in an appendix here: http://trace.tennessee.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?
article=1059&context=utk_interstp2.
I doubt that it's exhaustive.
There's another (shorter) list here: http://www.ielanguages.com/frenchitalian1.html.
