I am trying to translate part of a Latin song (hymn, probably), but it is written in old script (i.e. some "s"s are
written as "f"s) and it has one letter I cannot recognize at all. Can anyone identify it?


It's the letter after b that looks like a reversed "e" or something.

It looks like some scribal abbreviation.

It's an abbreviation for -us-.

Thanks, that makes "manibus" instead of "mini b(e)". Now it makes more sense!
