The Government did use Modern Russian 1 and 2. I have some tapes from the series with government labels on them.

hi,
I have my own server (http://www.yojik.eu)
I'll move very soon on a new server more powerfull; this one is now 4 years old and need to be changed (it's on OVH datacenter).
But, if you are interested, we ould manage to put the material there. (and move it on the new server when it will be ready)
I finished the reorganisation of the FSI Russian textbook course; I'm working on the audio part now. (2/3 done) And it will be on this server too.
Hope this can help,
Eric

I like your format for the book much better, thank you for your efforts. The reorganizing
makes the text seem much more serious and easier to follow, well done. The FAST courses
are actually pretty good. Thank you for the heads up, the Princeton course is
wonderful...but the html folder organization is a nightmare.

Who are you talking to, and about what? I'm also interested in the re-organized Princeton course, so I'd like to know
if one exists.

Sorry, I wrote that reply half asleep. Ericounet redid the Russian FAST course, which
looks brilliant now.
I did a small reorganization of the Princeton Course. The material is the same...but I
merged all the PDF files. So instead of having 200 pdf's my little edit consists of
six. I got rid of the old file system and all the HTML links, Finally I made a Zip file
for each portion of the course so instead of one massive download I have four different
zip files (much easier to share. I was looking for a host.
I was asking the community's opinion on whether we could petition to have the Princeton
course hosted on the FSI courses website (with proper acknowledgments and gratitude to
the original author) given that a Russian Basic FSI course does not exist. My thought
is that this course is an appropriate substitute given that A)The course is VERY
comprehensive and B) The course is public domain.

That's a great idea, but in the meantime, why don't you just upload it and post it here?
