I am about considering adding Platiquemos to my daily study schedule. I am about A2 speaking, and I'm about to finish the Spanish with Ease passive wave.
Is there an obvious way to approach Platiquemos in 30 minute chunks?
I'm not in any big hurry to finish Platiquemos, obviously

Try it and see if it works for you? 30 minutes a day is better than 3 hours in one sitting once a week.

Most of the FSI lessons have two 30 minute audio clips per unit. You could simply do one per day... first half one day and the next day do the second half. With the second half you could do the quick play back of the dialogue at the beginning (I forge what that 2-3 minute playback of the dialogue is called).

With Plati you could do basically the same thing... there are simply more (and shorter) audio chunks per lesson.

It looks like it is easy enough to split up. I finally bought the whole thing today. I'm pretty excited. I hope this will add the missing ingredient to Assimil. I love Assimil; it has done so much for my passive skills, sort of magic.
