[Jumanji] The Manjis language!

Hello everybody!

Does any of you remember a cartoon called Jumanji? It was pretty awesome at that time. So, in this cartoon, there was a tribe called the Manjis, with a very specific language, where most of the speech were made using "tongue clapping".

At 1:09, you can hear the typical manji speech. Unfortunately I couldn't find while browsing the web the inspiration behind this language.


So what do you think? Is there any real language that would sound like this one? That's a pretty awesome one though!

Well, I guess it could be inspired by click languages from South Africa like Xhosa and Zulu and theKhoisan languages
