I've recently noticed that Firefox is available in four varities of English
US English
British English
Australian English
South African English
I understand the difference between AmE and BE, which mainly amount to spelling differences and occasionally different ways of phrasing things.
However, I always assumed that Australian English and South African English in their written forms were identical to British English and followed all the conventions of British English, and that the difference was only in informal slang, not in the written language.
So my question is, what exactly is Australian English and South African English and how is it so different that is warrants an entirely separate Firefox language?
